Day 16 (31/01/2023)

 Good evening

A day with full of spirituality is about to end. Today A Session on IPR, Copyright and Plagiarism was conducted by Mr Rupak Chakrobarty, Dept. of Lib Sci., Punjab University. He explained all depth of IPR and other issues regarding copy right. 

A very unique kind of class delivered by Mr Anupam Prakash, TA, ZIET, Chandigarh. On career counselling topic, he said so many reality of our work and career and other things while dealing with a child. I enjoyed a lot.

After lunch, both sesssion were Presentation of Participants. All were good.

At 6'O Clock, we went to Gurudwara at sector 78. It was very peace and holiness spread all over. I thought if I can stay more time here....

Still under the infulence of Guru Granth Saheb and people in Gurudwara.

Day 15 (30/01/2023)

 Good Evening

Today, I learned about the formation of Book Club discussed by Mr Sunil Saini sir. I am conducting this activity in my library, but the proper way, how we can construct the book club and what kind of collections and activities should be there...is I learn here. For my next session, I am very much exited to do this in a proper manner.

New trends in library and information science : is discussed by Mr Neeraj Kumar Singh, Deputy Librarian, Punjab University. It was again an interactive session with lots of new things.

After lunch demo presentation of participation was there.  Than we conduct a meeting of mess committee for the food menu for coming days.

Day 14 (29/01/2023)

 Good evening

Yesterday Day 14 was passed in rainy environment. I had presented my Demo Presentation : Connecting with Parent". 

Morning assembly of our group "Ignited Minds" was very good.

After that lecture on Artificial Intelligence was more practical than theory. So it was very interactive and useful.

Use of social media for library is one more informative topic discussed by Mr Faisal sir. Sir show us examples of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc using by worlds best libraries to promote their activites.

After lunch Participant's demo presentation was there. I had presented my "Connecting with Parents". 

We gathered with the Group E for our group project after Tea Break.

 Good Evening

A great day with full of enjoyment today.

Today we went for excursion. We visited Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake and Rose Garden. 

Rock garden is a very unique place I have ever seen. What an architecture. Supperb!

Today's day is started with tension of mid term exam. 

On the top, Pariksha Pe Charcha Program by PM Shree Narendra Modi.

Morning assembly starts my day with the book review "The Money Heist". 

Flagship Program of KVS is eleborated by Mr Jugal Kishor, AC, RO, Chandigarh.

Finally tension over. Exam over. Great Relife.

 Good Evening,

Happy Republic Day

Today Republic Day is celebrated in ZIET, Chandigarh premises. Mr Mukesh Kumar, DC, ZIET Chandigarh hosted flag and than gave a speech on Republic day. After sweet distribution a small cultural program was presented by participants. I was participated in group song. Enjoy a lot.

Today, Inclusion Education topic was presented by DC sir.  He elaborate the whole concept of Inclusion Education through various examples. That time, two children of my school from class I and class VIII were blinking in my mind. Now I know the exact meaning of empathy. If we all behave with empathy will all, the word will change.

Book created is a wonderful book creation tool presented by Mrs Jyothi and Mr Faisalsir. Now I am trying to explore the  tool myself.

Day 10 (25/01/2023)

 Good evening

Today's day starts with a wonderful assembly using so many web tools for presentation. Competition level is going high day by day. Finger crossed...!

We all know communication. But we don't know how to communicate... A worthy class was taken by Ms Aparna Roy, TA, ZIET Chandigarh was full of enthusiasm and plenty of energy. When to talk, How to talk, Body posture..... all things matters. I noted down all the activities which makes me very happy and enriched. I will try to do this with my class.

Protection of Sexual Harassment act, 2013 was very well discussed by Mr Jugal Kishor, AC, RO, Chandigarh Region. He also discussed many points to develop reading habits in teachers and children.

Presentation from the Participants were good and useful. Noted all the ideas I found that I can apply in my library.

Day 9 (24/01/2023)

 Good evening

One more learning session is end up due to physical and time limitations.

Today's morning assembly was good. I get 9th rank in Quiz.

⏰ A very resourceful session on OER (Open Education Resource) was taken by Mr Adeshsir. He game many ideas like Newsletter special edition of OER, Web page for open source etc. I park all ideas in my mind and notebook parking. 

⏰ Life skill's session taken by Mr Ranjit, TA, ZIET Chandigarh is also very interesting. He used many techniques when we distract from the topic. We can use it in our class also. 

⏰ Today I have decided to make a webpage for OER, but my presentation is pending so I am still working on it. But this page will be created in next few days before leaving Chandigarh. Gentleman Promise....⏰

Day 8 (23/01/2023)

Good Evening, 

A beautiful day starts with very good and informative morning assembly. 

Today I get 10th rank out of 44 in quiz. Improvement is there.

 ⏰ How to plan a Digital Library? is a question for a beginner. Mr Neeraj Kumar Singh, Deputy Librarian, Punjab University discuss various points to plan and execute the idea for Digital Library. Also diffenciate Automated library, Digital Library and Virtaul library. Very informative sesson it was! 

⏰ NCPCR and POCSO are very improtant commission and law for children's right. In very detail we learn about all the child labour and assault and act and punishment for the same. When we are working in children institute, this must be known by everybody. R.K. Upadhyay sir very well discussed it and enrich our knowledge. 

⏰ A good day with a visit to Punjab University was very good. In a single room library, we can not imagine how much a library can serve. PU Library as enrich by collection in printed as well as digital. They are using SLIM 21 software for library work. Green stone is used for Digital Library. Ms Richa guided us the whole library and its different departments and work. Also I come to know that the building is listed under Heritage Building. Really, its archtecture is amazing. Rose Garden out side of the Library make me feeing very good. 

All my day was very much enriching. Thank you faculties.

 Good Evening

New day with new learning.

⏰ Today I learned so many things but first about my Morning assembly. I had participated in Special Item and I spoke a story. Nice experience.

⏰ Our DC sir today came to our session and he asked some questions to use actually we were never thing about. For example, how many times "जय हे "  comes in our national anthem. We are not giving much attention in such small things which are actually not small.

⏰ Internet security and cyber safety is a very much awareness thing everybody should know about. Mr Puneet shared many security features from google which will be very helpful in  future.

⏰ Teacher's diary is a mirror of our entire work and planning. How to plan and showcase our work in our Librarian's diary - was explained by Mr Sunil Sainisir. I was asking so many questions as I am first time leaning this things in a systematic way. Frequently speaking, I was really not aware about the importance of "Librarian's Diary". But from today, I promised myself to atleast make a proper record of every thing in my library thorough diary. 

⏰ Canva is one more web tool which is free graphic design tool we can use to make posters, banners, book covers, presentations, PPT and so on. Mr Safi explaind it well and also help me to make it. Thank you Safisir. Faisalsir is always there when we need.

21/01/2023(Day 5)

Its a pleasure evening 

⏰ Today one more day passed with great learning process. very impressive morning assembly made as more responsible to perform better for our tomorror's morning assembly. 

⏰ Quizizze: I got 9th position today. Not bed at all 

⏰ In the very first session, when Faisalsir asked us to listed out the role and duties we perform in our vidyalaya..... I was surprised how much work we librarians are doing. I think its really worth for any institution to have a librarian as they are very key person of the institute.It is truely said- "Librarians are master of none but jake of all". We really doing well.

⏰  "Stress management to improve mental wellbeing for teachers and students" is although very important session by Dr Manoj Bajaj. We should learn know how to balance our life between our family, work culture and society and make us free from stress. We are the only who can control ourself. No other can do it. It it is, the we should need therapy to avoid disaster in our life. 

 ⏰ Finally, I learned how to make a news letter. I made a sample newsletter and post here also. This sessions of new learning of tools make me happy and recharge me.

 Good evening

A great assembly with great enthusiasm was presented by Group D.

Quiz session was started with big disappointment for me where I get down to the 27th position.

Fresh Ideas for school library was session with very enhancing and enriching. I listed all the activities I want to do in my library in "Parking of Ideas". Sainisir have a great capacity to build confidence.

A very enthusiastic session was conducted by Ms Manjula with same enthusiasm about personality development by different activities. The most happening session it was. 

After lunch session, a theoretical session of Wakelet: a virtual library" was taken and hand-on after that. Some connectivity or others issues were occurred during the practice, but at least I make my Waklete profile.

19/01/2023 (Day4)

Good Morning

        A beautiful day starts with a test by Quizzes and again I get the same position 11.( I forget to         mention, Yesterday Quizzes I got 11th Position.

🕑 NEP I read last night but it was interpreted by Mr Sunil Saini was very effective. Many things we are doing in our library but we just need to recognize them under NEP 2020. Importance of library and a role of library in next era is going to be very important. 

🕑 Creating and curating words sounds very interesting during the "Web tools to create a virtual library space" class taken by RP Mr S L Faisal.

 🕑 An excited session for me was the hand-on session. All tools previously discussed by Faisalsir are unknown for me. Among the list I make my own sound cloud id which is audio library and linktree which is mobile app for library. Trial and error make me sure how to start and use. Basic things I learn today made me confident. 

           

Also I have started my Library Blog myself from today.

 21 Days In service course for Librarians of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan

Day 3

⏰ Morning assembly was presented by Group B.

⏰ Librarian-As an academic leader, a very motivating lecture was held by Mr. Mukesh Kumar,DC, ZIET Chandigarh. I learn how a librarian can become a good leader by cultivating the skills of a good leader. Different types of leadership and its effect the team or an organization was well prescribed by sir.

⏰ Work life balance and work ethics- are the key of success of ones life. By examples and discussion, Mr Tarun Benerji explained how we can balance our life by balancing our work and family.

⏰Recapulisation by testing our knowledge through Quizizz is also a interesting learned experience.

⏰ Problems facing while using e-granthalaya 3.0 were discussed during Mr Sunil Saini's session, Which was quite result based. I got solution of one of my eg 3 work problem. Also find some other problems facing by participants (Librarians) and get solutions for the same.

Day 2

⏰ Morning assembly was presented by Group A.

⏰ Effective Implementation of KVS Library Guidelines and Procedure Manual was discussed by Mr S L Faisal, RP. A brief introduction was presented by Faisalsir. It was very live session where we all participated and filled with knowledge.

⏰ The session on School Safety was presented and discussed by Associate Course Director Mr Tekchand. Importance of safety and security and how to implement socio-psycho safety environment in Vidyalaya. 

⏰ After the lunch, the session how to create e portfolio by Mr Adesh Kumar, RP. In hands-on session, I have started my first blog of my e portfolio. This made me so exited to create a blog myself.
